Anybody who’s ever tasted food samples at the shopping market will testify to this: everything tastes or looks better if a smiling girl is involved. But that fact doesn’t come anywhere near explaining what the fudge is going on in this picture.
An eBay seller decided the best way to promote his Audi R8 was to put a girl in lingerie in the pictures. Of course, if we were to buy a $130,000 supercar, there’s no way we’d trust somebody with that kind of logic.
The young lady doesn’t exactly look like a professional model, and her plump constitution has a good change of bending the hinges. We’re not being ill behaved about this, it’s just a fact: those doors were built for lightness.
Getting back to the model, we can only presume, and we know this makes it disgusting, that this is the owner’s girlfriend and she wanted to have some sexy pictures taken once before. This again would give us reason not to buy the R8. If this is what they do with the car in front of the camera, just imagine what they do when it’s off.
As for the car R8 itself. The owner wants $130,000 for it, which seems like an OK price for an R8 GT (says in the title). However, it’s just a 2008 R8 with a 4.2-liter V8. The car does have some interesting Dymag wheels with a carbon fiber lip, a wing and carbon front splitter from PPI. The add also says it has a supercharger and a straight through exhaust... which we don’t believe are there.
