When Audi introduced its new BiTurbo 3.0-liter V6 TDI engine, everybody expected this to become widespread across the carmaker’s range and it seems that are about to witness a step in this direction.
We are talking about the launch of the engine on the Audi Q5, an event that’s expected to take place this weekend, at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Thus, the crossover will allow the driver to play with 313 hp and a peak torque of 650 Nm (479 lb-ft), which should allow it to cover the 0 to 62 mph sprint around over five seconds (we’re actually expecting the time to be just over the five-second mark) and offer it an electronically limited top speed.

Since this will be a performance model, it will probably also use a special body kit, as well as tweaked suspension and brakes.
