Audi Centre Cairns Opens in Australia

After announcing that the new Audi Centre Parramatta opened officially last week, the German carmaker has just revealed the new Audi Centre Cairns facility is also open for business. Audi Australia’s managing director, Uwe Hagen, opened the facility along with Dealer Principal, Alan Baxter, accompanied by a display of Audi R8 V10 sports cars.

The new 360 square metre Audi Centre Cairns “Hangar” facility has been built in just over 4 months, and includes an 8 new car showroom, 4 bay workshop and extensive Audi Approved Plus facility.

“This new showroom highlights the Audi brand’s ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’, or innovation through technology. It is a complete ‘one stop shop’ for Audi buyers in Cairns,” said dealer principal, Alan Baxter. “The growth of Audi in North Queensland has been phenomenal and we are confident the brand has an exciting future in the region.”

Audi Australia’s managing director, Uwe Hagen, said the new 8 car showroom is a clear reflection of the strength of the Audi brand in Australia.

“Our brand is growing steadily and sustainably in Australia. With the investment in this new facility, it is clear that Alan Baxter and the Motoco Group have faith in the Audi brand to continue our success here,”
Hagen said during the opening.

“I applaud their commitment to Audi and their vision in investing in the future of the brand. It is important that such a great brand, with exciting and emotional new products can be represented around the country in suitably premium facilities, like the new Audi Centre Cairns.”
