Audi Awards Its Best Partners

After at the end of last week Volkswagen showed us how automakers must work together with their suppliers to ensure both reliable products and a good working relationship, another German manufacturer now does the same with the other side of the automotive industry: its dealers.

Following a full year of competition, called the Business Cup, during which over 530 Audi partners have competed to achieve the best performance in terms of sales, cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction, the competition came to a conclusion. The prize was awarded to Potsdam based Autohaus Babelsberg, who has been chosen as being the best of all the participants. Alongside Autohaus Babelsberg, 24 other dealers have also been awarded.

Our partners did some outstanding work last year. They demonstrated unwavering commitment in generally difficult market conditions and a gloomy economic climate. Our increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty indicators are proof that this commitment pays off,” Michael-Julius Renz, Audi Germany sale head said.

What the dealers must have not known when they entered the contest is that Audi planned to take the winning 25 to Stirling, Scotland. Once there, all the 25 dealers had to get in the local mood and wear...kilts. And that's not all. After they got all dressed, Audi shot them... As in a photo, what did you think?

This year's competition was the tenth and, as were its previous editions, it was intended to identify the top 25 Audi partners. According to the manufacturer, the Business Cup is "regarded as the most prestigious of the Audi awards, incorporating results from other Audi competitions such as the Audi Sales Cup and the Audi Service Cup."
