At last year’s Worthersee Tour, Audi gave fast hatchback fans what they’ve always wanted: small car, big power. The little A1 had been kitted out with the famous turbo-five 2.5-liter engine from an RS3, one which had been tuned to produce more like 500 horsepower.
The car was called the A1 clubsport quattro and it also came with a white paitjob, black roof and red accents for the headlights. A new prototype for some sort of sport A1 was recently spotted by an it also had a white paintjob, a dark roof and red headlights.
However, there’s no way this car is powered by the 2.5-liter turbo, and at the same time its bod isn’t as extreme as the Audi S1 prototype, so it’s likely not the RS1. It doesn’t even have skirts or big wheels.
However, since this has a different color combo to the regular A1, it might be a clubsport special edition, powered by one of the existing motor. The other possibility would be this is the A1 e-tron.
