The British company announced today that it has appointed Hanno Kirner as Chief Financial Officer. The executive will report to Ulrich Bez, the carmaker’s Chief Executive and will also be included in the company’s Executive Board of Management.
“Aston Martin is pleased to announce the appointment of Hanno Kirner to the newly created position of Chief Financial Officer, based at the company’s global headquarters in Gaydon, United Kingdom. Kirner, 39, will report to Dr Ulrich Bez, Aston Martin’s Chief Executive and will form part of the British marque’s Executive Board of Management,” stated the press release.
Kirner has a vast experience in the automotive industry, previously working for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, where he held the Director for Finance and IT position for the last five years. In addition to that, he formed part of the company’s Board of Directors. The executive previously help multiple senior roles with the BMW Group.
“Hanno brings a broad range of experience at a global level in the luxury automotive industry and I am very pleased to welcome him to Aston Martin. Hanno will play a key role in helping us to continue to build and grow a strong, global and independent Aston Martin business in the future,” stated Ulrich Bez.
