Artega GT Roadster to Debut at Geneva

The limited series sports car Artega GT may arrive in a new flavor this spring as the designer, the well known Henrik Fisker who now owns Fisker Motors, may debut the Roadster at the upcoming Geneva Auto Show. According to GlobalMotors, the Roadster is expected to arrive this spring and, considering that the Geneva Motor Show opens its doors in March and is the only event that may bring a very large audience, it’s likely to see the new Artega in two months.

Information is pretty limited for the time being but, until the Roadster is officially confirmed or denied, let’s review some Artega GT specs.

First of all, the Artega GT Coupe is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 Volkswagen engine mounted straight behind the driver. This unit produces a maximum power of 300 hp, combined with a maximum speed of 155 mph (250 km/h) and a 0 to 100km/h acceleration in less than five seconds.

“The Artega GT puts you in the passing lane to the future. Breathtaking design, technological innovation, contemporary proportions – the new German sports car promises pure indulgence whatever the occasion,” the manufacturer praises the model on its official website.

“Even the rich interior is nothing less than compelling with its superb components from renowned manufacturers and innovative cockpit systems from paragon AG. As this new brand’s first car, the Artega GT is something definitely worth discovering.”

The Coupe flavor of Artega GT is exclusively addressed to Europeans but, according to the aforementioned source, there’s some speculation claiming a model was delivered to somebody in New York. However, the car is only available as a limited series (500 units are built every year) and is priced at 75,000 euros.
