It’s bold, it’s red and it has two seats placed in tandem, plus a nuclear reactor for an engine. The Areal Atom is futuristic design inspired by the shape of the real Ariel Atom. This stunning piece of design belongs to Muhammad Imran, a Singapore based designer. He has envisioned this futuristic craft while keeping in mind the present global environment. An increasing number of countries have access to the nuclear power.
Nuclear energy has been a good solution for countries in need of energy, thus it is only natural to ask what nuclear power can do for cars. This is what such an ‘atom powered’ sportscar would look like, through the eyes of the designer.
This stunning vehicle gives its passengers the ride of their life. The wedge shaped body with a bobsleigh shaped body, the lightweight materials and the sporty look enable it to shoot and dart around the track like an arrow from a bow.
This experience can only be enjoyed by two passengers, their seats are placed one in front of another. One of the stunning features this futuristic car has, is that it combines tandem seating with a large cockpit-like bubble roof. The conventional steering wheel has been replaced by one that looks like it came from an aircraft, while the seats look very beautiful but not comfortable at all. The wheels have a turbine design, with a yellow logo in the middle. We especially like the gills on the side that must cool the nuclear powerplant placed at the rear of the car for better weight distribution.
