Apprentice Open Day at Bentley

The dream all of you wannabe auto engineers have had in the past few years might just turn reality this weekend, provided you live near Crewe in the UK and have the possibility to make the trip to Bentley's headquarters. Because there, the luxury auto maker will hold on March 19 an apprentice open day.

The event can be attended by anyone for free and is meant as a way for Bentley to both display its latest creations (including the new Continental GT) and find new talents.

The car maker is looking for new apprentices, and during the open day event everyone with a vision, a little bit of talent and some luck might get the chance to enter the Bentley apprenticeship scheme.

Current apprentices and more experienced Bentley staff will be on site to lend a hand with the applications and explain how live working for a renowned car maker (who also happens to sponsor another major British employment competition, WorldSkills) is like.

“Our apprenticeship scheme has been recognised as one of the best at a national level and we are looking for enthusiastic students who relish a challenge and who will seize this opportunity to display their potential,” said Christine Gaskell, Bentley member of the board for Personnel said.

Of course, since Bentley is so keen in finding and retaining talented workers, the new apprenticeship program can also be joined online. From now and until May 16, anyone in the world can join for a chance to learn from Bentley by following this link.
