Apple Power Cables for Bikers

New offerings from Powerlet are now available to ease V-Twin riders’ journeys, designed to work with Apple iPhone 3G, 3GS, iPod Touch and even the new iPad. The Apple-compatible cable just has to be plugged into the Powerlet Power Bar on the motorcycle offering the devices all the power needed.

An in-line regulator assures that voltage is properly stepped down to operate the smallest iPod (or just about any mobile phone on the market for that matter) to protect it from any transient voltage spikes.

"Our Apple compatible power cables come in a variety of configurations to suit virtually any need,"
explains Powerlet Sales & Marketing VP Dan Proffer. "And if your ride does not have an OEM-installed outlet, Powerlet can hook you up with that too."

These cables are completely compatible with OEM sockets found on Harley-Davidson, Victory and a variety of American V-Twin motorcycles.

"Powerlet's cables and cigarette lighter-style power outlets were designed specifically for the rigors of the open road. Their glove-friendly design insures ease of use, while the small size facilitates storage. This is the benchmark by which all handlebar-mounted cigarette lighter-style sockets shall be measured," added Proffer.

"Seriously, the socket set-up is an exercise in engineering excellence. It is CNC-machined from solid billet aluminum and will fit any handlebar size. Regardless of the style of cruiser you ride there is a Powerlet adapter cable and outlet to fit your needs!" he continued.

Specifically, the Powerlet iPod Charging Cable is available for $44.95, while the Powerlet Power Bar is available for $124.95.
