Anteros 2009 Coupe and Roadster Too Expensive Not to Have One

n2a Motors, the California based custom builder said today it is ready to receive orders for the Corvette based sportscar named Anteros. The models are priced in the $150k+ range, so take a close look at your bank accounts. If you feel you are up to the task and can afford to pay $149,500 for the Anteros coupe or $154,500 for the Roadster version, place the call and arm yourself with a lot of patience. You will have to endure a 12 week long nail biting nerve wrecking waiting period before you can enjoy your new ride.

A 2009 Corvette muscle car forms the basis for this Italian looking sports car, whether it is a standard 430 horsepower Corvette or a 505 horsepower Z06, The choice between the two powerplants is up to you, as n2a builds both of them. The Z06 based Antero is however more expensive and can lower your crisis budget by at least $176,500.

The Anteros will be welcomed for servicing at any GM dealership, because Chevrolet's 100,000 mile powertrain warranty remains completely intact, even if the car looks and feels different. The exterior of the car went through massive restyling before looking the way it does. All body panels were replaced with redesigned carbon composite parts.

Three-piece aluminum wheels were fitted on the car, as well as a cat back exhaust system. The interior is completely redone using re-contoured hand-stitched leather seats, leather dash, Italian carpeting, and leather-wrapped interior panels. The Anteros will benefit from a wide range of performance packages, to suit the needs of all those who think the car hasn't gone through enough changes.

The Antero concept was first displayed in Los Angeles, at the 2008 auto show, and is the follow-up to n2a Motors' 789 model, inspired by the designs of 1950's Chevy's.
