We understand the tendency to hurry, whenever you’re driving somewhere and need to get there quickly. However, taking a shortcut should not be tried unless you are sure it is safe for both yourself and your vehicle. This Russian man clearly did not know the road, or rather the side of the road.
He gets fed up with the slow moving traffic, and decides to speed things up, so he starts driving on the unpaved side of the road, only to remain suspended a little while later, with the car’s front wheels in the air. Having passed what looked like a burn Ford Scorpio, he should have taken that as a bad omen and not attempted his time-saving shortcut.
Also, the state of Russia’s road has a part to play in this unfortunate, yet amusing incident - when you come across a ridge that is so big your car’s wheels are up in the air, and that ridge is right next to the roadside, then you know that there’s a problem somewhere.
