Andy Goss Appointed President of Jaguar Land Rover North America

Jaguar Land Rover now has a new President for its North American Operations. The company recently announced that it has appointed Andy Goss as President Jaguar Land Rover North America (JLRNA).

The executive will oversee the National Sales Company operations of the Jaguar and Land Rover brands on the US and Canadian markets. Goss, 53, will replace Gary Temple, who has held this position since 2007. Temple announced that he will retire by the end of the year. Prior to the change, the two will work together in order to assure a smooth transition. The exact duration of the hand-over period hasn’t been announced.

Goss will fill in his new position on May 1 and will report directly to Phil Popham, Director, Group Sales Operations for Jaguar Land Rover. Goss comes with a rich experience in the automotive field, with his latest position being Chief Executive Officer of Porsche Cars GB.

Popham expressed his delight for the arrival of the team’s new member, inviting everybody to welcome Goss to JLR’s North American offensive.

We are delighted to welcome Andy to the critically important North American team. Please join ime in wishing Andy every success with his new assignment and in wishing Gary a long and happy retirement,” said Popham.

We have to mention that the new executive has a huge responsibility as JLR is currently in the midst of an aggressive expansion process, which should see the company reach new heights.
