Andrea Dovizioso Valencia GP Leathers to Be Auctioned for Charity

With the occasion of the Inter-Parma football match that took place on Sunday November 28th at San Siro, Milan, Kopron, partner of Repsol Honda team, brought together the Inter players with famous riders such as Andrea Dovizioso and Tony Cairoli for a charity auction. All the proceeds from the sale will go to the association Inter Campus in support of a social project aimed at children in Brazil.

Specifically, the leather suit with which Andrea Dovizioso ran the last race of the 2010 championship, the Grand Prix of Valencia, will be auctioned on eBay with the helmet of Tony Cairoli, Wesley Sneijder's shirt, Samuel Eto'o's shoes and Julio Cesar's gloves.

Since 1997, Inter Campus have been achieving worldwide social measures and cooperation activities using football as an educational tool to return to 10,000 children the right to play. The auction ends December 5th.

"It 's an honor to participate in this initiative. We are lucky because we have turned our passion for the sport into a job. By donating my leather suit I have the opportunity today to contribute to a socially useful project that identifies an educational tool in sport to reach the most disadvantaged children,” stated Dovizioso.

“Sport has played an important role in my growth. I got the first bike when I was 4 years old and since then have not yet stopped, from 6 to 13 years I also played football. Sport is a significant component of my life. I’m happy to be able to help the children in Brazil with Inter Campus," the Italian rider added.

Earlier this month, Roger Lee Hayden’s signed race leathers from this year’s Moto2 race at the Red Bull Indianapolis GP was also auctioned on eBay for $3,050, with the proceeds going to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF).
