Now that BMW has brought the new F30 generation of the 3-Series to the market and tuners have started to play with it, it is only natural that BMW-dedicated German tuner Alpina releases its own incarnation of the car, which will come in the form of a new B3 Biturbo range.
The game will start with the introduction of the B3 saloon at the Geneva Motor Show in March next year, with this set to be followed by Touring, Coupe and Convertible models in the next few years.
The B3 will be based on the 335i and it will come with a tweaked version of the car’s twin-turbo 3.0-liter straight six. As for the output, the power is expected to sit around 400 hp, while the torque should sit at 400 lb-ft (540 Nm), of which three quarters will arrive from 1,300 rpm.
The standard models will come with rear-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive will be offered as an option for the saloon, Touring, and Coupe models and maybe also for the convertible.
