As all teams have left the Jerez de la Frontera circuit following the second group test of the winter, Ferrari was the one team that did not pack immediately after the Sunday action. And that's because the Scuderia had scheduled a series of promotional films for its partners.
Needless to say, the atmosphere inside the Ferrari garage was much more relaxed than in the last couple of days, although the filming session took place on Valentine's Day. But other than that, both drivers got to enjoy some more track time at the wheel of the Ferrari F150th Italia, throughout some 50 kilometeres around the Jerez track.
“It was a nice opportunity for the drivers to spend time with the team in a rather more relaxed atmosphere, far removed from the usual frenetic activity of a test,” said a statement from Ferrari.
Neither Fernando Alonso, nor teammate Felipe Massa will have much spare time to enjoy this week, as there are only 3 days remaining until the 3rd and last group test of the month February, which kicks off on the Catalunya Circuit this Friday.
According to Ferrari, it will be Alonso who will take the wheel of the F150th Italian around the Catalan track on Friday and Saturday, while Massa is due to complete Ferrari's testing programme in Spain on Sunday and Monday. This will be the last test held in Europe, as all teams will head for Bahrain in the first week of March for the last 4-day test of the off-season.
