We actually know a whole bunch of families who are waiting for this vehicle, so Hyundai probably has a lot riding on it right now. We’re talking about the all-new generation of Santa Fe, which is in drastic need of a makeover.
The good news is that the all-new 2013 model could be in your parking lot by the end of the year. The Korean automaker has confirmed to MotorTrend that the new SUV is going to debut at the 2012 New York International Auto Show, which we’d remind that it takes place in April.

In the looks department, the Santa Fe will have the same sort of grille design we see on the smaller ix35. While we’re on the subject, we’d remind you that the Santa Fe will be renamed the ix45 in Europe.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
