Art Center College of Design graduate and contract designer in Los Angeles Shane Baxley came up with a radical concept car inspired by the performance computer maker Alienware.
Alienware is a US computer hardware subsidiary of Dell and makes custom high-performance gaming/processing laptops and desktop PCs. Not only that their performance is above the average device you get from your local store, but the design is captivating too, being known for their distinctive “sci-fi” shapes and decorative lighting.

Based on that criteria, Shane got overwhelmed by the idea of an Alienware future race car, so he started to imagine and contour it since last year. His urge to design such an alienish concept was also propelled by the fact that all his time spent in college he had to draw clean and simple shaped vehicles.

“This Alienware vehicle is used for racing in the distant future where vehicles are ‘grown’ rather than built. The driver would sync to the car through his or her suit and the vehicle itself would be one large computer. This is not beyond the scope or reality, engineers at Stanford were recently successful in creating the worlds first biological transistor, thus opening the doors to biological computers. Grown vehicles will definitely be the ‘way of the future’.” explained Shane in an interview for Car Body Desing.
