Airoh announces the Phantom, another flip-up motorcycle helmet created for riders who want to mix the wind-in-your-face feeling with protection substantially enhanced over the half-designs.
The Airoh Phantom has P and J homologation, meaning it is street-legal when worn either closed or open. The helmet was wind-tunnel tested and Airoh claims it is “totally noiseless”. Now, that may be in comparison with other Airoh lids, because we just know that modular helmets are not exactly the most silent of all.

With a thermoplastic matrix shell, the Phantom comes with removable cheek pads and an anatomically-correct internal structure, doubled by a rubber neck trip, a lower rear spoiler and hygienic, antibacterial Sanitized liner. Thanks to the ACVS (Airoh Combined Ventilation Systems), this helmet is supposed to provide great ventilation and heat/moisture wicking in all weather conditions, with its array of front and chin vents.

The scratch-proof quick-release visor is Pinlock-ready and backed by an internal sun visor. The lid is also Bluetooth-ready for installing an intercom system, and comes with a safety chin guard release system, and micrometric strap. This helmet will be available in sizes XS through XXL, with the reference weight of 1,550 grams (3.4 lbs), and an estimated price of €299 ($413).
