The Nissan GT-R is already seven years old, but all this time hasn't made it any less interesting than the day it was launched. Sure, the interior looks dated and we've gotten used to its design a little too much, but seeing one is still more of an event than, say, a meeting with a Porsche.
We'd put that down to the aggressive aspect of the car, a feature a lot of owners build up on by taking their car to the tuner shop. Some go for light touches like a new exhaust or a different bumper, while others go the whole nine yards like this Liberty Walk widebody (among other modifications) example here.

The Nissan GT-R we're going to talk about looks like it was touched by King Midas in the most inappropriate way, starting from the back and stopping before he reached the front end. It's a two-tone gold and black (well, technically it's raw carbon fiber) GT-R that somehow manages to pull this look off without stretching things too far.

Well, that bonnet might disagree a little with what we've just said, but it's a quick (even though pretty expensive, we'd imagine) fix. However, the true highlight of the whole car and the reason behind this wonderful photo shoot are, believe it or not, the wheels.

They are, as the title might have given it away already, ADV.1 designs, and they do look at least just as good as the rest of the car. The six-spoke brushed bronze looking rims suit the car perfectly, being bold enough to fit in, and discreet enough not to stand out too much.

Speaking of the photo shoot itself, it took place on the Bahrain International Circuit, the same place where Formula One cars come to play once a year. There were no distractions now, though, and the golden paint of the GT-R looks just stunning against the orange sunset in the backdrop. It's not even that important why this shooting session happened, all that matters is that it did. If you don't know already, you can find the image gallery below. Enjoy.
