The forth top-earning model in the world according to Forbes 2012’s list, Adriana Lima will make any car look a thousand times better by just posing next to it. She recently posted a teaser-image of her sitting in the famous Italian-designed Isetta microcar in what seems to be a future a shooting Desigual clothing brand. We like it.
She is 33 and looking just perfect. Those eyes will make you forget your memories in a blink while she won’t even look at you. Adriana Francesca Lima was born in Bahia, Brazil and is a natural. At 15 she already finished first in Ford’s “Supermodel of Brazil” competition. Of course success followed. The following year she took the second place in the Ford “Supermodel of the World” competition, after which she signed with Elite Model Management in New York City. In 2012 she came in 4th on the Forbes top-earning models list, estimated to have earned $7.3 million (EUR 5,4 million) in one year. Yes, one year.
You might also remember Adriana being the first pregnant woman to be ever featured in the Pirelli calendar, for the 2013 edition. As to Desigual, Lima collaborated with them before. Last year on July she was announced to be the face of the brand during Barcelona Fashion Week Spring Summer 2014. However, Lima is probably best known for her work with Victoria’s Secret.
As to the car, we think it’s the BMW Isetta, the one that became the world’s first mass-production 3-liter/100km car, in 1955. Back then, it was the top-selling single cylinder car in the world, with 161,727 units delivered. On the other hand, considering that Isetta is an Italian-designed microcar built under license in a number of different countries, including Spain, it’s hard to tell. We’ll know for sure, once more pictures with Adriana Lima and the car will hit magazine stands. Until then, enjoy the view.
