Adjustable Coilovers for F10 M5 Now Available at Dinan
A lot of companies out there are now offering all sorts of ‘suspension’ upgrades for a variety of cars but few are actually trustworthy. Amongst them you might find KW and H&R but apart from them there are few other options available.
Today is a good day for those looking for a more precise set of coilovers, though, because Dinan Engineering just announced that they will also be offering such a kit for the current M5 model from BMW (F10).

Their system offers up to 1.25 inches (3.175 cm) of lowering, depending on the wheel and tire setup, of course. Thanks to threaded collars, the process of height adjusting the ride is easier than before both for the front and rear axle.

As for the spring rate, according to Dinan, their product offers 15% more stiffness on both axles. Of course, that translates into less body roll and better overall handling.

All the components are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and have a black anodized appearance as well as corrosion protection and they are compatible with BMW’s own electronically controlled shocks.

“The M5 handles incredibly well for a full-size sedan and our adjustable coilover kit gives it the proper stance and the precise handling M-car owners are looking for. Dinan’s goal has always been to improve performance without sacrificing reliability,” said Steve Dinan, the President of Dinan Engineering about this product.

This should go really well with the recently launched carbon cold air intake from Dinan and the other products they also have available for the M5. The entire kit costs $1,499 and, while we’re looking for ways to raise that kind of money, the engineers are working on a next level M5 project car that will surely be crazy, as we’ve been getting used to when it comes to Dinan.
