Few tuners can pride themselves with an experience of over 30 years in the field, like the Americans from Active Autowerke can. Their latest creation is a Performance Exhaust for the BMW F30 328i.
The new 3 Series came with a new set of engines too. Some of the old 6-cylinder engines were replaced by turbocharged 4-cylinder units that deliver, in some cases, even more power. That's the case with BMW's new N20 engine, fitted on the 328i.
Being a new engine, the guys from Active Autowerke had to spend some time in the drawing room in order to create a quality exhaust, like they usually do. That's why this performance, aftermarket part came out almost a year after the new 3 Series was launched.
However, the result is impressive. The new rear muffler is made out of stainless steel and is available either with one 140 mm (5.5") diameter oval outlet or dual 80mm (3.1") adjustable exhaust tips.
Fitting your 3er with this new exhaust will completely change the sound of your car and also increase its power with 9 WHP and 13 extra lb-ft (18 Nm) of torque. The tuner brags that the extra horsepower will be felt instantly and at any RPM.
