Abt Audi Q7 V12 TDI 560 Horsepower

Abt Sportline has just presented its latest creation, an upgraded version of Audi Q7 V12 TDI whose engine now generates a maximum power of 560 hp. But before stepping to technical details, let's talk a bit about the appearance of the car.

As you can see for yourselves in the adjacent pictures and in the photo gallery below, the tuned model boasts a new front spoiler that makes it a bit more aggressive. New 22-inch light-alloy wheels and large air intakes contribute to overall appearance of the car.

The diesel unit which developed 368 kW (500 hp) and 1,000 Nm of torque has been tweaked to provide an astonishing maximum power of 412 kW (560 hp) and 1,200 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed Tiptronic transmission, that helps the car sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 258 km/h (160.3 mph), in spite of the overall weight of 2.6 tons.

The 2010 Audi Q7, which was launched in mid-April, is offered in a choice of two petrol units and four diesel configurations. The petrol options include a 3.6-liter FSI V6 with 206 kW (280 bhp) and 360 Nm of torque and a 4.2-liter FSI V8 that generates 257 kW (350 bhp) and 440 Nm of torque.

The diesel lineup consists of a 3.0-liter TDI With 176 kW (240 bhp) and 550 Nm of torque, a so-called "clean diesel" 3.0 TDI that achieves 26.4 mpg in combined cycle and perfectly complies with 2014 Euro 6 emission regulations. A 4.2-liter V8 TDI option generating 240 kW (340 bhp) will be also available, with fuel consumption ratings of 21.1 mpg (11.1 l/100km) and 23.7 mpg (9.9 l/100km) in city and highway conditions respectively.
