Fiat today confirmed it will bring the Abarth 695 "Tributo Ferrari" at the Frankfurt Auto Show next week and released the full list of specifications of the car. Just as we told you, it is powered by a 1.4-liter Turbo T-Jet 16V engine, especially tweaked to provide a maximum power of 180 hp. The engine is mated to Fiat's MTA (Manual Transmission Automated) electromechanical gearbox with race-inspired paddle gearshift, optimized to reduce gearshift times.
In order to achieve the best possible acceleration times, Abarth and Ferrari offers 17-inch alloy wheels, with the design inspired by Ferrari wheels. Both the suspension and the braking system have been tweaked to handle the boost of power so 284 mm multi-section discs with fixed four-piston calipers, both by Brembo, and special shock absorbers are also available.
The exterior is painted in Scuderia Red and features carbon fiber door mirrors. The wheels and the rear air intakes are finished in Racing Grey. Exterior highlights include Xenon headlights with dipped and main beam functions manufactured by Magneti Marelli Automotive Lighting.
As for the interiors, "Abarth Corsa by Sabelt" seats are fitted and finished in black leather with a shell and seat base in carbon fiber. "These seats offer a perfect blend of racing characteristics – light weight (10 kg less than the standard seat) and the ability hold the body steady against lateral and longitudinal forces, thanks to body support elements filled with crush-resistant foam – with the ergonomics and comfort of road seats," Fiat said in a release.
Additionally, the interiors are boasting black leather steering wheels with red leather inserts, foot wells covered in non-slip aluminum and racing pedal personalized with the Scorpion logo.
