The Fiat 500 is a pretty car, the Abarth 500 which is based on it is even better looking and the Abarth 695 'Edizione Maserati', which is based on the Abarth 500C and it looks even better. It is not the first ultra-limited series model, following in the wake of the 695 Tributo Ferrari.
There will only be 499 Maserati Editions built, so it will be one of the rarest cars in the world. To move it along, the car retains the Fiat 1.4-liter turbo engine which produces 180-hp in this state of tune and is coupled to a 5-speed automated transmission, which can really be heard as the car gets a sports exhaust with two modes. To keep you on the road, the car gets huge Brembo brakes and Koni shock absorbers.
The interior of the Maserati Edition is stunning (for a small car), featuring cream leather seats, similar to what you’d find in a proper Maserati, contrasting leather inserts on the steering wheel, carbon trim for the gearbox buttons and new gauges to better reflect it special status.
The car look amazing, with the Maserati-inspired 17-inch rims, the ‘Pontevecchio Bordeaux’ color, and the retractable soft-top with special fabric. The car is priced at £32,000 (€39,000) in the UK and first deliveries are expected to begin towards the end of this year.
