Fiat’s in-house tuning division Abarth has announced that their newest limited edition model will be shown at Piazza della Loggia in Brescia in conjunction with the historical revival of "the most beautiful race in the world". Yes, the same 695 Maserati Edition will arrive for the 2012 edition of the Mille Miglia.
Abarth will build just 499 units of the 695 Tributo Maserati, all of which will be powered by a 1.4-liter turbo engine that has been pushed to 180 hp and is mated to Abarth’s electro-mechanical gearbox, which comes with steering wheel controls.

The body of the car features a Pontevecchio Bordeaux coat, its 17-inch Maserati-inspired rims, as well as well as a big-brake kit, featuring 305 mm rotors and four-piston grabbers for the front axle. Even the design of the exhaust has been inspired by Maserati design.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
