We though we were done with the Fiat 500 Abarth a long time ago, but it looks like the little pocket rocket just won’t stay silent. The 160 horsepower version has made its North American debut via the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show, and its marketing campaign made quite the stir with a saucy little commercial that still haunts our dreams.
Today, the Italian in-house tuning division for Fiat has announced a strong offensive to conquer and impress the 2011 Bologna Motor Show, which start in Italy on December 3rd.

To production 595 Abarths have been revealed ahead of the debut. Called the 595 Turismo and 595 Competizione these promise plenty of thrills with very few spills. Both come with the same 1.4-liter turbocharged to 160 hp and sprint from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in 7.4 seconds while offering a top speed of 211km/h (131mph).

The Turismo is fitted as standard with a electrically-operated manual transmission with controls on the steering wheel. It even has the sort of control setting buttons as a Lambo in place of the shifter. The body is finished in a two-tone black on red scheme. It’s also set off by 17-inch wheels and other exterior cosmetic tweaks.

The interior of the 595 Turismo is also finished in two-tone red and black leather on the seats, dash and steering wheel.
