A Gloomy Perspective on Harley-Davidson

Is Harley in trouble? 1 photo
We've come across a report which analyzes the way Harley-Davidson finances seem to work and it shows a rather gloomy perspective for the Motor Company.
While I am no economy or banking specialist and would rather spend my time riding and bringing you all sorts of news, I guess it may be up to you to decide whether the things presented in the report from Idea Mechanic are real or merely illusions.

Frankly, there are too many numbers in the report and they must be looked at by fellows who are dealing with such matters on a daily basis. In case the report turns out to be true, then it's a really gloomy future H-D must face.

If these 6 pages turn out to be just useless junk, then we at least know the chap who wrote them might be a bit off. One thing in the Idea Mechanic document seems to be impossible to refute: "by design, Harley motorcycles are loud and dirty, so the company will need to figure out a way to navigate a regulatory environment that is cleaner and less noisy."

As much as I love big and powerful bikes, I have to agree with the fellow. They're beautiful but they're also old, from may points of view. The report in PDF below.
