Ready for some Christmas shopping? They sell a Ferrari Testa Rossa at Harrods. But no, it is not the real deal, and you can’t drive home in it. It is a 75% scale reproduction.
Built by The Little Car Company, the limited-edition bespoke model is on display in the Technology Hall on the fifth floor of the luxury department store. It is painted in Rosso Corsa and sports a historic livery in Blu Mart and Bianco Cervino. Meanwhile, the cabin is covered in Beige Tradition with tone-on-tone stitching.

Yet this color combo is not the only one available. Customers will be able to browse through all the customization possibilities. They can choose the type of leather and the paint. A total of 14 historic liveries, 53 bodywork colors, and a series of racing liveries are there for customers to choose from.

The Ferrari is displayed on an angled platform, which provides it with a dynamic stance. Ben Hedley, CEO of The Little Car Company, says that displaying the car in one of the world’s most prestigious and iconic luxury department stores does make sense. The guests will have the chance to see it in all its glory and check the attention to detail and the craftsmanship that go into each of the models.

Shoppers will be able to get the necessary information from a member of the sales team on site. The sales assistant will also help them reserve their bespoke Ferrari Testa Rossa J.

The Ferrari Testa Rossa J has been developed in partnership with Ferrari Classics. Only 299 Testa Rossa Js will be built and delivered worldwide, with each of them being handcrafted based on the original drawings provided by the team at Maranello.

The building stages are similar to those of the original car. The Testa Rossa J is made of hand-formed aluminum. The steering, supplied by Nardi, the makers of the original steering wheel, and suspension geometry have been replicated. The scaled model receives pedals from the F8 Tributo and handmade 12-inch wire wheels with Pirelli Tires.

The instrument cluster has been redesigned to match the demands of the electric powertrain. The dials now display battery temperature and charge level. The driver can choose one of the four driving modes via the Manettino, inspired by the Ferrari 812 Superfast.

The Novice mode provides the car with one kW (one horsepower), the Comfort mode brings four kW (five horsepower), Sport mode delivers ten kW (13 horsepower), while Race mode delivers 12 kW (16 horsepower). It may not sound like enough, but when Race mode is engaged, the Ferrari scaled model can hit 49 mph (80 kph).

The battery pack is made up of three units, located at the front of the car, for a range of approximately 56 miles (90 kilometers), depending on the driving style.
