810 HP in a BMW

Even though BMW is a brand that can brag with some high-performance cars, they haven't had so far a true supercar. There have been some attempts, some even came close, but in the end they failed to deliver. This is not the case of Currency Motors, who have succeeded in this quest and delivered a 810 horsepower BMW M5.

With its amazing power, the M5 can definitely be included in the top of the fastest and most powerful sedans ever. They squeezed a twin turbocharger system onto the BMW M5's V10, managing to obtain 810 horsepower and 993.8 Nm of torque. The developer, Currency Motor Cars, estimates that their M5 can go as fast as 386 km/h (240 mph), but they is a long way from testing it and proving their estimations and suppositions.

What does the Currency M5 have extra when compared to the stock M5? A hand crafted custom CMC intecooler (hard job keeping the air cooled), custom CMC turbochargers located near the exhausts exits, Pirelli P-Zero Nero tires and the Asanti 120, 3-piece forged 20 inch rims.

The car has also received some alterations on the inside, leather steering wheel, arm rests, dash and seats, all hand stitched, designed and installed by Judy Amic-Angelo, said to be one of the most respected designers in America. I can't imagine that someone who will buy this car will care about the hand stitching or the leather on the arm rest, it's all about power, horsepower (810 of them - if you had a chance to forget) and torque! All of this sounds good, but when you have to come up with USD 350,000 for this baby it's a whole different story.
