The current iteration of the BMW M5 has been getting a lot of flack lately, especially after the Germans released the Competition Package for the LCI version. That’s because a lot of people said that the ZCP model is how the M5 should’ve been in the first place.
Some even went as far as to claim that this whole thing was a conspiracy, BMW intentionally releasing the car with so many faults just so that they could sell the aforementioned package later on for a hefty price.
We wouldn’t go as far but we definitely love the improved, enhanced ZCP version. Apparently so do the guys from Car Throttle that put together a video showcasing 8 awesome features of the LCI F10 M5.
Unfortunately, they didn’t list them properly so we had to do it for them. In a completely random order (or not, we’re so underground we don’t care about hipster rules) here they are:
1. The sound of the Competition Package exhaust in combination with the twin-turbo V8 S63 engine
2. Powered boot lid (so you can lock yourself in the trunk, apparently)
3. Night Vision
4. Ski hatch
5. Soft close doors
6. Parking assistant with Surround View Cameras
7. Internet
8. Competition Package (20” alloy wheels, more power, etc.)
