700 hp G 63 AMG vs Nissan GT-R is Closer Than You Think

A stock Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG is one of the fastest safes on wheel you can think of. The 544 hp and 760 Nm (561 lb ft) of torque can make it reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standing start in just 5.4 seconds.
OK, that's quite fast for something that has a drag coefficient of 0.54 - which is about the same as a building - and also weighs 2550 kg (5622 pounds). It's not exactly supercar territory - unless you're talking about models from the 1980s - but still, it's insanely fast.

Remember the 700 hp G-Wagen video that was trying to break a dyno in half from a few weeks ago? Well, the Hennessey-tuned brick-on-wheels is back with another video that's a bit more satisfying.

What happens when an American muscle tuner like Hennessy messes with a G 63 AMG's internals pretty much transforms the car from one of the fastest ex-military vehicle in the world to a monster that can almost take on the mighty Nissan GT-R, affectionately known as Godzilla. In case you haven't figured it by now, the following video pretty much makes this G 63 AMG none other than King Kong.
