It's fair to assume this guy bit off more than he could chew. In fact, he could have called for the support of a beaver and a herd of camels, and he'd still have more than a mouthful.
The events leading up to this surprisingly thrilling chase are unknown, and since the rider wanted to remain anonymous (for obvious reasons), they will likely stay that way. But that is a German Army G-Wagen SUV, so he clearly pissed off the wrong people.
In the absence of actual facts, we're going to assume he was just a teenager looking for fun. Who else rides a 50cc scooter with a GoPro camera on his helmet? He probably saw one too many "Ancient Aliens" shows and was convinced the military base near his home was hiding ET from the rest of the world. Or maybe he was just bored and thought poking his nose around the base on that stealthy scooter was a good way to pass the time.
Whatever his reasons, he caught the attention of a patrolling vehicle that immediately set out to intercept him. Unlike other countries where he would have been shot after the first refusal to stop - if he were lucky - the German soldiers appear to be a lot more relaxed. Well, they do chase him with a big off-roader and, at some point, wave a gun at him, but considering they also probably had missile launchers and miniguns, the much too curious rider got off easy.
We don't get to see how he made his way in, but his hasty escape shows he would have had to go past a locked gate and some concrete barriers, so he can't really invoke the "I didn't know I was forbidden to be here argument." Which is probably why he decides to run away in the first place. The soldiers catch up to him and tell him to stop, at which point he says "yes, yes, wait a minute" and veers off to the right. This is where things get interesting, and you can almost feel the adrenaline rush yourself. It wouldn't be fair to say he didn't look back from this moment on - because he did, quite a few times, checking to see if his pursuers were still there - but he definitely kept the throttle wide open at all times. In the end, after squeezing between a wire fence and a rapeseed crop, he manages to break free. I don't know about you, but I would love to be in this guy's shoes the next day at school.
