This year’s Miami International Boat Show, which just kicked off, will treat visitors with nothing less than a Lamborghini-inspired boat. We’re talking about a 48-foot (meter) offshore catamaran coming from Marine Technology Inc. (MTI).
The styling is inspired by the Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 anniversary model and yes, both belong to the same owner, a man called Gino Gargiulo. Of course, the striking yellow hue makes this a true crowd pleaser. The rest of the design also resembles the Aventador, while its interior is every bit as luxurious as you’d expect.
Power comes from a set of Mercury Racing 1350 engines just for the show, but, after the show, the boat is set to receive two Mercury Racing 1650 units. This is the same setup we’ve seen on the AMG Cigarette Racing 50 Vision GT boat, a machine that can hit over 140 mph.
