Since BMW's M division is turning 30 next year, it's only normal for every BMW enthusiast to be looking forward to an anniversary edition of an M car.
Fortunately, a BimmerToday reader spotted something that will blow your mind. It seems like the car they chose to transform into an icon is the F10 M5 LCI. Martin (the guy who spotted the car) was quick to take a photo of the interior, where a sticker saying "30 Jahre M5" (30 Years of M5) blew the cover on the secret, special edition 5er.
Furthermore, the spotting took place near M division's plant in Garching which is a strong indicator that this is actually official. The same sticker on the dash of the car says "1/300" which might point out that only 300 of these special edition units will be built.
The last anniversary M5 was based on the E60 and launched in 2009, celebrating 25 years of existence of the M division. If the same kind of upgrades will be installed on this model, expect it to have Carbon Ceramic Brakes, a manual gearbox, a bump in power output and a higher top speed.
