Following the introduction of the first all-electric performance SUV from Mercedes-AMG during the fall of 2022, Mercedes-Benz USA has finally released the pricing details for the 2024 Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV, which kicks off at $109,300 (excludes the $1,150 destination and delivery charge).
Mercedes-AMG may be one of the most renowned sports car manufacturers, but it must constantly adapt to the times like every other. As such, over time, it has had to accommodate the introduction of crossovers, electrified models, and now fully electric performance SUVs.

AMG's innovative hybrid drivetrains solutions proved quite successful on the E Performance models, so they are taking everything up a nudge with the Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV. Claiming an uncanny resemblance to the EQE liftback sedan, the EQE SUV has a roomier interior, the same advanced technology, and now also a performance-oriented drive concept with the addition of the AMG EQE SUV to the lineup.

Claimed to be "the most versatile electric vehicle in the performance and sports car brand's portfolio," now the 2024 Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV is up for grabs at nationwide US dealerships starting at a base MSRP of $109,300. By the way, make that $110,450 after factoring in the $1,150 destination and delivery charge.

And, for that cash, if you don't need all the performance, you could easily snatch a larger EQS sedan or EQS SUV! Alternatively, if you want two cars for the household, you could almost buy a couple of EQB SUVs! Anyway, with the air cleared regarding the 'arm and leg' costs, let's see what makes this AMG EQE SUV tick so fast and elegantly.

So, for starters, you would get "numerous AMG-specific exterior design features," including an AMG black panel where the radiator grille used to be, bespoke front and rear design, "aerodynamically optimized air diffusers, as well as a number of other distinctive elements." There are also two exterior design packages on the options list - AMG Night Package and AMG Night Package Plus, plus unique 21- and 22-inch wheel styles.

Inside, the standard MBUX Hyperscreen with three OLED screens is mixed with AMG-styled Nappa Leather or MB-Tex/microfiber with red contrast stitching upholstery and an AMG Performance steering wheel in a trio of trim combinations. AMG Performance 4Matic+ fully variable all-wheel drive is standard, alongside the AMG Ride Control+ air suspension with Adaptive Damping System, rear steering, and the AMG Active Ride Control roll stabilization.

Of course, let us not forget about the optional AMG Dynamic Plus package, which for extra cash, will unleash the full 677 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque – enough to hit 60 mph (96 kph) in 3.4 seconds and a higher top speed of 149 mph (240 kph). By the way, a second trim is also available for purchase – Pinnacle (starting at $112,600 sans destination), which adds stuff like four-zone climate control, Air Balance, and more.
