It's an all-show with no extra-go proposal, as the N Line treatment brings a sportier exterior design and a few things on the inside of the Hyundai Kona Electric while not offering a power boost.
According to the Korean automaker, the Kona Electric can be specified with the extra goodies in the N Line and N Line S trim levels in the United Kingdom, which are priced from £40,395 (equaling $51,124) and £43,095 ($54,541) respectively.

The bundle brings new front and rear bumpers with a sportier design, different side skirts, glossy black side mirror casings, and an optional two-tone paint finish with a black roof. The wheels are also exclusive to this configuration and measure 19 inches in diameter.

Further setting it apart from its stock self, the Kona Electric N Line also gets cloth or Eco Alcantara and leather upholstery, front sports seats with extra side bolstering decorated by the N Line logo, red contrast stitching, red details on the N Line steering wheel and dashboard panel, bespoke pedals made of metal, and a black headliner.

Choosing the lesser version of the battery-electric crossover will get you heated front and rear seats, ambient lighting, a heated steering wheel, a power-operated tailgate, and a smartphone charging pad. The better-equipped N Line S adds additional gizmos, including the Alcantara and leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats with electric adjustment, dual-zone climate control with rear vents, and a premium sound system from Bose with seven speakers and a subwoofer.

At the same time, the Kona Electric N Line S benefits from full-projection LED headlights, a full-width daytime running light signature, and many safety features. The latter comprises the rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist, blind spot collision avoidance assist, parking collision avoidance assist, safe exit warning, parking distance warning, and surround view monitor. These safety features are limited to the upper trim level and are not standard on the normal N Line.

Speaking of options, it is worth noting that the zero-emission crossover in the N Line S trim can also be specified with a lot of options, including a memory function for the driver's seat, premium relaxation front seats, remote parking assist, digital key, and an electric sunroof, all of which are part of the Lux Pack. Hyundai mentions the forward collision-avoidance assist 2.0 with junction crossing automatic braking and highway driving assist, too.

Besides the N Line and N Line S, Hyundai's new Kona Electric can also be ordered in the Advance and Ultimate grades in the United Kingdom. The entry-level has a recommended retail price of £34,995 ($44,290), and the Ultimate is priced from £43,095 ($54,541), the same as the N Line S.

In the United States, the Kona Electric comes in the SE, SEL, and Limited guises with respective MSRPs of $32,675, $36,675, and $41,045.
