It was a big day on Tuesday for American bike maker Harley-Davidson, which for the first time decided to present the novelties for the new model year through a digital event called H-D 21. We got to see most of the plans the bike maker has for the new year, but some things, like the full details on the Pan America, were left out (we expect more on that at the beginning of next month).
We’ve already talked about one of the major developments planned for this year, the launch of the Street Bob powered by the Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine, but there are news on other fronts as well.

On the Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) segment, for instance, Harley announced the continuation of the usual mix of “exclusive performance, style and luxury,” but also the addition of some extra perks. But let’s take things slowly.

For the new year, Harley plans to continue offering four models for the CVO range: Limited, Street Glide, Road Glide, and Tri Glide. All get new shine thanks to new paint and graphics, but they also up the ante a bit with the introduction of a new audio system developed using Rockford Fosgate hardware (for the Street Glide and Road Glide models only).

The audio system, called Stage II in Harley speak, comprises amplified three-way speakers, midrange, and tweeters capable of blasting 150 watts of power into the air. Additionally, there is also a Rockford Fosgate amplifier on the table, good for 100 watts.

The CVO range will retain the exclusive Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin engine, the most powerful powerplant Harley presently has on offer, with 125 lb-ft (169 Nm) of torque on tap.

Several other items have been added to the new-for-2021 list. Those include a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel combo, new LED console light, instrument faces, and standard-length saddlebags, among others.

You can have a closer look at all the changes made for each CVO model in the press release section below. For now, we have no details on availability and prices.
