Each car spotter has his or her own preferences, but if there's one machine that currently tops everybody's list, that has to be the 2017 Porsche Panamera.
Yesterday we showed you a Turbo being driven in Spanish traffic , we are now back with an even better sighting. Prepare your comparison hat, as these images (lens tip to Autogespot) bring together a Turbo and a 4S.

The pair of four-door Porsches was spotted in Filderstadt, Germany. Not only does the carmaker have a dealer there, but the location happens to be 30 minutes of driving away from the company's head office in Zuffenhausen.

And yes, these are the only two models currently available in the US, whereas Euro customers also get the 4S Diesel. On the plus side, the oil burner borrows the Audi SQ7's 4.0-liter V8, which sees its pair of conventional turbos receiving assistance from an electric one. Then again, we're dealing with a two-ton behemoth.

The Turbo prides itself with a new twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8, which allows the driver to control 550 hp and 567 lb-ft (770 Nm) of torque. But there's a price for the 7:38 Nurburgring record such a lavish machine can deliver. To be more precise, the range-topper (for now) comes with an MSRP of $147,950, or EUR153,011.

Nevertheless, the 4S also brings novelties under the hood, turning to a twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 for motivation - the unit delivers 440 hp and 405 lb-ft (550 Nm) of twist. Go for one of these Panameras and you'll have to pay at least $101,040 or EUR113,027.

P.S.: The Panamera Turbo is a temporary range-topper not just because the Turbo S hasn't been released yet. We'll remind you wild rumors from a few years ago talked about a 700 hp Panamera hybrid and the Germans have already confirmed the line-up will include a pair of performance hybrids, so we might just see one of them getting the crown.
