Yes, the Audi R8 is going to appear in another movie. Why can't people use Ferraris and Lamborghinis instead? Anyway, after appearing in many Avengers and Iron Man films, the German supercar will have a CGI appearance in Final Fantasy XV.
I don't know that much about Final Fantasy in general. But I've watched VII and heard they are going to reboot it. There are several different FF universes, this one being all about two warring kingdoms and a black-haired prince.

Earlier today, Square Enix dropped an atomic bomb on the entertainment industry, showing the trailer for the first CGI feature film they've done in a long time and another one for the Final Fantasy XV anime series.

As technology progresses, the line between games and movies is getting blurry. They've made a movie based on the Prince of Persia game; Blizzard is going to release a World of Warcraft movie inspired by the most popular game ever, and there's a cartoon called Sword Art Online that's about people being stuck in a magical world of lore. We all know how that feels!

In the game and cartoon, I've noticed a convertible that looks very much like Cadillac's Ciel hybrid concept. Not sure if they got approval for that one, but they will definitely need it for the R8 since it's a complete replica of the Audi, right down to the circles. In any case, the Germans should feel honored to be featured in one of the most popular video game franchises in history.

The only difference between the 2017 R8 V10 in our world and the one made using CGI is that all the carbon fiber has been replaced by metal. To be precise, it's engraved metal, something we've seen on a custom GT-R made by a Japanese tuning company. The R8 has it on the front grille, mirrors, and the trademark side blades.
