We have to hand it to Hyundai for making such an interesting successor to the ix35. There wasn't anything wrong with that crossover, but its replacement is a more versatile machine that can compete with the Nissan Qashqai on equal footing.
As the European market launch is happening this summer, the Korean automaker has enlisted the help of actress Hannah Ware to shoot the ad campaign. We know you guys don't have much time for the Korean car brands or an actress you may not have heard of, but take it from us: it's worth watching.

There are plenty of car companies stuck in their ways. You could argue that the Tucson is not as revolutionary as making houses from recycled materials or eating only raw fish, but it's certainly better than its predecessor.

The range of engines available has grown considerably and now includes a 1.7-liter diesel or the 1.6-liter turbo used by the Veloster. On most models, you can even buy a twin-clutch gearbox, which Hyundai says is a segment-first.

Hannah has a distinct and very interesting flavor of humor, which we rather enjoy. She's serious and edgy, but the things she blurts out are pure nonsense. You can see that side of the #changeisgood marketing campaign in the second video we're featuring.

Compared to its predecessor, the 2016 Tucson has grown by one inch in width (2.5 cm) and increased its wheelbase by 1.2 inches (3 cm). The best feature is the exterior, which is among the sportiest in this class, thanks to a wide grille and LED headlight accents and DRLs.

Present in UK showrooms this summer, the Tucson SUV will be available in five trim levels, as follows: S, SE, SE Nav, Premium and Premium SE. The cheapest version you can buy is the S, starting from £18,695 (equivalent to €26,400) and offered with 16-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning and automatic headlights with a dusk sensor.
