In 1997, Toyota took a big step by releasing the Prius, the first mass produced hybrid car offered as an alternative for people concerned by emissions and fuel economy.
While some people bought it gladly, most of them considered it useless and gave it no chance of survival over the years.

Fast forward to 2013 and the Toyota Prius is already in its third generation, having been improved considerably from what it used to be 16 years ago. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg, as the Prius’ success gave Toyota the opportunity to further explore hybrid powertrains and fit them in other models also, now being the world’s biggest hybrid vehicles supplier.

The Toyota Prius continues to get improvements and with the camouflaged 2015 model surfacing the internet earlier, Rm.Design came up with a rendering recently, hinting at how the fourth generation iconic hybrid may look like when it will be released.

You can see in the picture above that the overall shape is the same, while the biggest change can be found at the front, where the Keen Look design has been adopted.
