Honda's baby SUV is back in the UK after it initially debuted in 1999, and now we can provide official pricing info for the 2015 Honda HR-V.
We'll just cut to the chase and tell you the Brits can have the new HR-V for a starting price tag of £17,995 OTR (on the road), roughly around $27,805 at current exchange rates.

For this money, clients get the entry-level S grade petrol model using a 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine with 130 HP. Also, according to Honda, passengers will benefit "class-leading boot space" since the trunk offers a cargo storage area of 453 litres with the rear seats up and 1,026 litres with the rear seats down.

Honda's Magic Seats system is also invited to the party, but if you want more equipment, it's the mid-grade SE model you want. Of course, you'll have to pay more (£19,745 or $30,510, at current exchange rates) but you're rewarded with rain sensing wipers, front and rear parking sensors and a six-speaker audio upgrade.

On the upper end of the ladder lies the top-grade EX model available from £23,195 (roughly $35,827 at current exchange rates). For the extra cash, Honda is offering a full leather interior, smart entry and start, a rear-view camera along with a tilt-and-slide opening panoramic glass sunroof and 17-inch alloy wheels.

As you probably know, the HR-V's latest engine addition for the UK market is a new 1.6-liter diesel engine offering 120 HP.

“Sixteen years after the original HR-V, Honda is returning to the crossover segment it pioneered with the exceptionally spacious, versatile and technologically advanced HR-V. And with highly competitive list prices, we are expecting huge demand for the all-new HR-V," said Leon Brannan, Head of Cars at Honda UK.

Well, we can only hope he's right.
