Even though BMW fully revealed the M3 a while back, in production form, if you're a true Bimmer fan you can't really miss out on an opportunity to drool over the spectacular sedan, especially if you're lucky enough to spot one on the road.
That's exactly what happened to a lucky Bimmerpost reader that had a first degree encounter with the Yas Marina Blue UFO. As quickly as it was humanely possible, our man jumped out of his own car, took a couple of snapshots and then jumped back in to record the beauty with his camera phone. And thank God he did!
The driver of the car was more than a nice guy, noticing the enthusiastic dude that was filming him. Stopping at a red light, the engine was revved and giggles soon followed.
Contrary to what some are saying, the 3-liter biturbo S55 engine under the bonnet also makes a pretty good sound, not just unbelievable amounts of power. In case you didn't know, the new M3 will have 431 HP and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque at its disposal turning it into a sub 4 seconds 60 mph car.
