2014 Toyota Tundra Specs Revealed

Following the announcement of the all-new Toyota Tundra entering production, the automaker has also released the specs and details of the famous pickup truck.
First thing first, the new Tundra can be had in three cab styles: two-door Regular Cab, four-door Double Cab and larger four-door CrewMax. As for the beds, the Regular Cab and Double Cab are offered with a standard 78.7 inch or 97.6 inch long bed, while the CrewMax has only a 66.7 inch one.

The engine range consists of three units - a V6 and two V8 engines. The 4-liter DOHC V6 is standard on the Regular and Double Cab models and produces 270 hp and 278 lb-ft that is channeled to the wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. This setup allows a fuel economy of 20 mpg highway, 16 mpg in the city and 17 mpg combined.

Continuing with the powerplants, the next one is the 4.6-liter DOHC i-Force V8 pushing 310 hp/ 401 lb-ft which can be had in both two-wheel and four-wheel drive transmissions. The two-wheel achieves 15 mpg city, 19 mpg highway and 16 mpg combined, while the all-wheel drive scores 14 mpg in the city, 18 on highway and 16 mpg combined.

Last comes the most powerful V8 in the range, a 5.7-liter DOHC i-Force that generates 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft which can be had in six-speed automatic 4x2 or 4x4 setups. The first achieves 13 mpg city/18 mpg highway/16 mpg combined while the all-wheel gets 13 city/17 highway/15 combined.

Standard features include Automatic Limited-Slip Differential, ABS, Brake Assist, traction control, backup camera, navigation, mudguards, power windows, power mirrors, moonroof and more.
