If you don’t need the big Tundra for hauling stuff around but still want a pickup, Toyota can offer you the smaller Tacoma model.
Tested by AutoTrader, the reviewers said that they liked the muscular V6 of the Tacoma, as well as its numerous body styles, convenient size and sporty interior. On the down side, they didn’t liked the fuel economy, with the standard engine being a 2.7-liter four-cylinder rated at 159 hp/180 lb-ft of torque averaging 19 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on highway.

Still, the Tacoma is a proper truck, being able to tow up to 6,500 lb and haul about 1,500 lb when fitted with the bigger V6 engine. The standard cab can take up to three people on the front bench, but for increased comfort you should opt for those with individual bucket seats.

Interior materials feel pretty durable and the whole dashboard was designed with functionality in mind, having simple to use, straight-forward buttons and a touchscreen that can be operated even when wearing gloves.
