Toyota has just announced upgrades for most of its models, carrying them into the 2014 model year with more tech. For the full-size 2014 Sequoia, this means standard Entune Audio.
For 2014, the Sequoia SR5 grade adds the new Entune Audio Plus system, while the Limited gets Entune Premium Audio and the Platinum grade has Entune Premium JBL Audio. All systems are compatible with your smarphone. It features apps like Bing, iHeartRadio, MovieTicket.com, Pandora, Facebook Places and live info on traffic, weather, fuel prices, sports and stocks.

The Sequoia continues to be powered by only one engine, a 5.7-liter V8 rated at 381 ph and 401 lb-ft. This is matched to a six-speed automatic and gets 7,400 towing capacity.

The Sequoia makes a good towing vehicle, equipped with a hitch integrated into the frame as a single unit and a selectable Tow/Haul mode that modifies transmission shift points for optimal performance. The Trailer Sway Control system uses the Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) to help counteract handling forces acting on the SUV in an effort to minimize the impact of trailer sway.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
