Greenheads now have another reason be happy, as the 2014 Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid shaves off over $2,000 of its price.
Toyota’s most advanced hybrid passenger car, the Plug-in Prius, will be offered at MSRP $29,990, without loosing any of its previous equipment.

The Prius Plug-in shares all the normal Prius’ equipment but also adds some extra features, like heated cloth front seats, Remote Climate, extended EV range, unique 10-spoke alloy wheels and 1 additional year of Roadside Assistance through ToyotaCare, totaling 3 years.

Price for the better equipped 2014 Prius Plug-in Advanced has also been adjusted, being offered now at MSRP $34,905, which is $4,620 cheaper than the 2013 model.

The Plug-in Advanced comes with extra features like Premium HDD Navigation with Entune and JBL sound system, SofTex-trimmed heated front seats, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, head-up display and Safety Connect. The optional Technology Package adds Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Pre-Collision System, LED headlights and fog lights.

Production of the 2014 Toyota Prius Plug-in starts in October with pricing taking effect when the cars arrive in dealerships November this year.
