It seems that the designers of the 2014 Toyota Highlander had a meeting one day and did a bit of brainstorming on how the new SUV should attract and offer increased convenience for women drivers too.
So, after hours of head-scratching, graphs, rejected ideas and a spilled cup of coffee, someone came with the solution - a huge central console with a roll-opening top.
Why? Well, just because women tend to carry huge handbags stuffed with all sorts of things. And since just leaving it on the passenger seat or any other place doesn’t seem safe, the big central console offers enough space to fit even the largest bag ever.
The rolling top makes it easy to open and close and if you don’t really need such a cave in between the front seats, the storage space can be reduced by using a fit tray.
